Dr. Jared Betts
Dr. Jared Betts earned his degree in Animal Science from Berry College in Rome, GA. There he met his wife and they both moved to Knoxville, TN where he attended the University Of Tennessee College Of Veterinary Medicine. Jared then went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. After practicing in East Tennessee for a few years he moved back to Georgia to be closer to family.
Jared has now been at Smith Animal Hospital since 2022 and enjoys building meaningful relationships with pets and their owners. Dr. Betts is passionate about improving the lives of pets through preventative care and has special interests in internal medicine, ultrasonography, and ophthalmology.
In his spare time, Dr. Betts enjoys all types of fishing and being on the water as well as traveling to new places with his wife Megan.
