What to Expect at a Veterinary Appointment
The process of your first appointment will be smoother for both you and your pet if you know what to expect.
Please show up about 10 minutes early to complete our New Patient Form. If you wish to save time, you can fill out the New Patient Form in advance online.
Meet Your Veterinarian
One of our knowledgeable team members will go over your pet's history and talk about their condition. You may ask any questions you have, and we'll reserve time to answer them.
Examination, Diagnosis & Treatment
Following your pet's assessment, we'll give you a diagnosis and treatment options. Your veterinarian will work with you to establish an effective treatment plan for your pet.

- What types of payment options are available?
We expect all payments to be made in full at the time services are provided or when your cat or dog is discharged. We accept payments made by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
- Are there payment plans available for my pet’s care?
We are pleased to offer you CareCredit as a financing option. They have an easy application process and can give you results in minutes.
- Will I be provided with an estimate of costs?
We will give you a good-faith estimate for the cost of our services before treating your pet. But, unforeseen circumstances could arise that might impact your final bill.
We always explain our written estimate with our clients before they leave our facility, and require a deposit based on our estimate before we can give any further treatments.
- Should I call ahead to book an appointment?
- What is your appointment cancellation policy?
If you must cancel or reschedule your appointment, please let us know as soon as you can so we can offer the space in our schedule to other clients.
- What types of animals do you treat?

- Where can I purchase my pet's prescription and food?
You are able to purchase all of the medications and specialty foods your cat or dog needs either via our online store or our in-house pharmacy.
- What are the fees associated with an emergency visit?
We require a deposit payment upfront for all emergency examinations. After our veterinary team has examined your pet, we will give you an estimate for the cost of treatment to help you to determine a treatment plan.
If your cat or dog requires further hospitalization, diagnostics or surgery we will need a deposit up front, with payment due in full when your pet is discharged.
- Can you help with my pet insurance?
Our team will be happy to help you fill out the pet insurance forms for your pet’s visit.
